Douglas J. Markert, M.D., received his bachelors degree from
the
University of Rochester, received his medical degree from the Eastern
Virginia Medical School, completed his internship and his residency in
Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Maryland Medical System and his
fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the University of Maryland Medical
System. Dr. Markert was certified by the American Board of Radiology in
1998 in Diagnostic Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in
Vascular Interventional Radiology in 2000. Dr. Markert joined Virginia
Radiology Associates in 1999. He is a member of the Society of
Interventional Radiology, the American Medical Association, the Radiological
Society of North America, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. |

David M. Perlmutter, M.D., received his bachelors degree at
Muhlenberg College, received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical
College, cod his internship at Crozer Chester Medical Center, and completed
his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and his fellowship in Interventional
Radiology at the University of Maryland. Dr. Perlmutter was certified by the
American Board of Radiology in 2000 with a Certificate of Added
Qualifications in Vascular Interventional Radiology in 2002. Dr. Perlmutter
joined Virginia Radiology Associates in 2001. He is a member of the Society
of Interventional Radiology, American Medical Association, the Radiological
Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American
College of Radiology, and the Virginia Radiology Society. |

Adam B. Winick, M.D., received his bachelors degree at the
University of Pennsylvania, received his medical degree from the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Medical
School, completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Bryn
Mawr Hospital, and his fellowship in Vascular and Interventional
Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Winick was certified
by the American Board of Radiology in 1993 with a Certificate of
Added Qualifications in Vascular Interventional Radiology in
1999. Dr. Winick joined Virginia Radiology Associates in 2001 from Johns
Hopkins Hospital where he was Assistant Professor of Radiology and Surgery
and Associate Director of Vascular Interventional Radiology. He
has published extensively and is well recognized for his contributions to
interventional radiology internationally. He is a member of the American
Medical Association, the Radiological Society of North America, the
American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the
Chesapeake Interventional Radiology Society, the American College of
Radiology, the American Heart Association, and the Association of University
Radiologists. |

Ari Salis,
M.D., received a combined bachelors and Medical degree from Rutgers
College and UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, completed his
residency in Diagnostic Radiology at University of Maryland Medical
Systems/R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and completed his
fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Indiana University School
of Medicine. Dr. Salis was certified by the American Board of
Radiology in 1999, with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in
Vascular Interventional Radiology in 2001. Dr. Salis joined
Virginia Radiology Associates in 2006 from Sinai Hospital of
Baltimore where he was Chief of Radiology, Director of Radiology
Services for LifeBridge Health and an elected member of the Board of
Directors for American Radiology Associates. He is a member of the
Society of Interventional Radiology. |

Tinaben H. Patel, PA-C,
received her Bachelor of Science in
Medical Science from Alderson Broaddus College - Physician Assistant
program. Mrs. Patel was certified by the National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistants in 2002. She joined Virginia
Radiology Associates in 2005. She is a member of the American
Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of
Physician Assistants. |

Michelle Ann Cramp, CRNP, received
her Bachelor of Science from Edinboro University and her Master of
Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Cramp was
certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in 1999 as an
Adult Nurse Practitioner. She joined Virginia Radiology Associates
in 2006 from Georgetown University Hospital where she managed the
Uterine Artery Embolization and Chemoembolization practice. Ms.
Cramp is a member of the Nurse Practitioner’s Association of DC. |
